Our maple syrup waffles are made of selected organic ingredients and are baked according to an original recipe. After baking, they are packed fresh to keep the full taste intact.

Our maple syrup waffles are filled with the finest organic maple syrup and honey. They go well with a cup of tea, coffee or cocoa, for in between meals or as a dessert. The waffles are crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside.

Maple Syrup Waffles have a connection to Honey Waffles. The honey waffle has its origins in Holland. That’s why waffles are sometimes called Holland Waffles or, in Dutch “Stroopwafel”. They have been made for 200 years with waffle irons in the same way as other types of waffle. In the 18th century citizens of the famous cheese making town of Gouda came up with the idea of making waffles out of leftover dough. To sweeten them, they were cut into 2 halves and filled with caramel syrup, later on with honey syrup.

Our Tip:
Warm up the maple syrup waffles briefly in a pan, in the microwave oven or in a hot drink. This way they taste freshly baked!
