The excellent quality of our fine Bio Soya flower takes care of an extensive baking treat. We make our Bio-leben Soya flower only from selected biological sites. The soya beans are ground carefully to make flour and then packed carefully.
Our suggested recipe: “Apple-pie“
Short crust: 200g Soya flower, 100g whole cane sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 200g Butter and 1 egg. Mix the ingredients to make dough and then pour it in a greased Spring form pan. Pierce the dough several times with a fork, so that holes do not appear in the dough. Then place the apple pieces on the (sour apples/peeled) on the dough like tiles and powder it with 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Bake the apple pie only at 250°C for 25 to 30 and then again spread powdered sugar or spread mild apricot marmalade.
Our tip: Serve curd with apples. For this mix approx. 200g curd with cream, 1 yolk, sugar, cinnamon and some starch. You can even use other fruits instead of apple.

Bio Soya flour can be used readily for baking and cooking. Since Soya flour does not contain gluten, it can be however complemented with other full starch flours . In each case Soya flour improves the baking qualities of light baking products and bread. Furthermore 1 tablespoons of Soya flour and 2 tablespoons of Water mixed together can replace 1 egg!
Did you know: Soya beans show a high concentration of plant protein and are therefore used by competitive athletes and in protein rich food.
In case of our Bio Soya flakes since it concerns a purely plant product, they are also suitable for a vegetarian– vegan diet. Apart from that Soya flakes do not contain gluten and thus can be used with a gluten poor diet.
Warning: This product can contain traces of gluten, peanuts, other nuts, sesame and mustard and is therefore not suitable for people allergic to these products.
