The Black Beauty raisins are an old variety that were previously cultivated quite common along the Silk Road due to its beautiful appearance. In the course of time, like so many other things they have been forgotten. We found this variety of raisins in old records and cultivated it: the result is sensational - large, sweet and dark glossy black raisins.
We produce Black Beauty Raisins on our own certified organic plantations in the region of Samarkand (Uzbekistan). We have selected this area because here the soil and the plants have never been in contact with any pesticides or biocides.

Our company, Marap is working together with our 100 % subsidiary company Silk Road Organic (organic) foods in Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan) since past many years. Our dried raisins obtain a unique size and fantastic aroma by the excellent quality of soil, the intense sunlight of Uzbekistan and by numerous gentle and careful manual work. Thus we have established a small but fine production with our Black Beauty organic raisins, we emphasize quality rather than quantity.

It is automatically understandable, that our high-quality dried organic raisins do not contain any additives, preservatives or dyes.
In order to guarantee that they are 100% free from pesticides, we get all our raisins inspected by an independent accredited Austrian laboratory in batches.

Our organic  raisins are manually harvested when ripe and  immediately dried  by solar drying systems (sun drying / solar drying) that do not damage the product and thereby maintain their original dark color and its intense, fruity-sweet flavor.
After drying, our organic raisins are disinfested (Disinfestation) in order to free them of any possible infestation.

We offer you only the best quality and the best raisins. In order to ensure this, our organic raisins are handpicked and subject to laser cleaning several times by the company AFS (All food services) in Austria by means of most modern equipments. The Laser cleaning system ensures that only the best and purest raisins are brought in the market. All unripe and unsatisfactorily dried raisins are removed.


Even the existing residuals like small stones, leaves, stems, soil, wood and other debris are removed from the selected goods. Note : We can clean and remove undesirable parts for your products such as Cherries, Apricots or other fruits with seeds by our laser cleaning system as per your specifications and requirements.
